A Baroque orchestra, complete with harpsichord continuo and a flute soloist make up Bach's Concerto for Flute in D Minor. The first and last movements are the most fast-paces, with impressive scalar melodies flying from the flute, especially in the third movement. The second movement is slightly more withdrawn and lyrical.
