Mozart's Sonata in G Major is a piano-dominated piece that also features violin, and switches moods between melancholy and jubilant at various times in the piece. The first movement begins at an adagio pace and transitions to a happy allegro by the end of the movement. The second movement begins at a quicker speed, and maintains this vibrancy throughout the majority of the movement.
